Day 16: Vitense Indoor Mini Golf

[ 1 ] January 16, 2011 |

Although the golf balls you get at a miniature golf place are brightly colored and would stick out in the snow, that isn’t going to get most of us hardy Wisconsinites out there for a round of 18 holes. That’s why Vitense Indoor Miniature Golf Course is the perfect solution to our long Wisconsin Winters.

The course features fun, educational, interactive and amazing holes.  You have to see the Capitol Building and the “Rhythm and Booms” in black light, it is awesome!  You can even take a break during your round and race remote control boats on “Lake Mendota” and “Lake Monona”.  All in heated, indoor space – no snow gear needed!

Vitense Golfland is located at 5501 Schroeder Road, near the intersection of the west Beltline Highway and Whitney Way. They are open year-round, Sunday through Thursday 8am – 9pm, Fridays and Saturdays 8am to 10:30pm. For 18 holes of miniature golf the rate is $7.50 for adults, $6.00 for Juniors & Seniors (under 12 or 55+), and $3 for those 3 and under.
