While physically connected to Madison, Middleton maintains its own small town charm. Downtown Middleton is full of fun shops and delicious restaurants.

New to downtown Middleton is the National Mustard Museum. The museum is home to thousands of mustard all waiting to be sampled. Another exciting addition to downtown Middleton is the second location of The Willy’s Street Coop. The natural foods cooperative that has been a staple in Madison since the 1970’s opened it’s new location in University Ave. on November 15th.

Bike trails run throughout the city. Pheasant Branch Nature Preserve offers miles of hiking, biking and birding. The network of trails is always expanding and improving. One of the most recent additions to the Middleton bicycle community is the Pump Track and mountain bike trail located next to Pleasant View golf course.
Greenway Station Shopping center is a beautiful outdoor shopping mall. It is the place to go to stay current with the latest trends. There are several very nice, affordable condo projects located within several blocks of the shopping and dining area.
Another unique neighborhood is Middleton Hills. It is a neighborhood that has been built with community in mind. The homes have front porches and garages in the rear of an alley. Many of the houses are Frank Lloyd Wright inspired Prairie style homes. It has been designed so people can walk to the park, the grocery store, coffee shop and their office.
Middleton sits on the West shore of Lake Mendota. Beautiful homes overlook the lake and picturesque views of Madison skyline.
Middleton is truly a community for all ages of all income levels.
There are very nice condos for under $100,000 and huge estates for several million dollars. The average home value in Middleton is between $300,000 and $325,00, while the average condo value is between $180,000 and $200,000.
